DO you need a leg up? This is the bizarre moment an elderly climber's fake LEG fell off while she was scaling a rock wall.

Amputee Dot Fulton was halfway up a climbing wall when her prosthetic leg dropped off and crashed to the ground.

But the 68-year-old, who lost the limb to a blood clot four years ago, appeared to be completely unfazed and carried on the climb until she reached the top.

Brave Dot even managed to make it back to the ground safely with just one leg.

The comedy footage has since gone viral with over one million views and nearly 20,000 shares after it was posted on Facebook.

It has become even more popular thanks to hilarious commentary from fellow amputee Tommy Gunn.

After Dot's leg falls off, Tommy shouts in a Scottish accent: "That's alright it's just your leg's fell off!

The footage was recorded by Tommy at Glasgow Climbing Centre during the Finding Your Feet charity's monthly climbing trip.

Dot was new to the group and had never climbed before but wanted to see what she was capable of doing.

She has since been praised on Facebook for the 22-second clip.

Finding Your Feet spokeswoman Ashley Reid said despite the fact Dot lost her leg she "climbed all the way to the top of the wall and then climbed all the way back down", adding: "She has just such an amazing personality and sense of humour - we love that she just kept going."
