Here's how Mick Jagger works out for THREE HOURS a day to stay in shape for the Rolling Stones No
HE’S the age-defying frontman of the world’s biggest rock band, and at 74, shows no sign of slowing down.
Sir Mick Jagger is back on the road with the Rolling Stones’ No Filter stadium tour – and is estimated to cover ten miles on stage during just one gig.

As he took to the London Stadium on Tuesday night at the tour’s first UK date, one question was on everyone’s lips: How does he still do it?
The Sun can reveal that dad-of-eight Jagger is as energetic away from the stage as he is on it – and works out for THREE HOURS a day, five to six days a week.
He does an intensive workout regime masterminded by Norwegian physio-therapist and personal trainer Torje Eike – who has previously coached Olympic athletes and top footballers.
Today we reveal why Mick’s still so Jumpin’ Jack Flash on stage – with the megastar’s famous face superimposed on our mocked-up snaps.
HIS DIET

Mick is said to have been converted to organic foods by bandmate Ronnie Wood’s ex-wife Jo, and the habit stuck.
His diet today remains more in line with a Premier League footballer or top athlete than the once wildman of rock.
It includes breakfast smoothies, wholegrain pasta, rice, beans, chicken and fish.
HIS PILLS AND SUPPLEMENTS

The Rolling Stones may once have travelled with more drugs than an average chemist, but these days they’re rather less hard-hitting.
Today Jagger’s chemicals of choice are vitamins A, C, D and E, along with B complex – paired with cod liver oil, ginseng and ginkgo biloba which are said to improve endurance and brain function.
HIS PRE-GIG ROUTINE

He tucks into a pasta meal four hours before a show, while avocado remains a favourite treat.
For breakfast, he favours a super-juice smoothie to start the day in style – but not before 10am on the day of a gig. He once revealed: “Any earlier, you’ll be too relaxed by showtime.”
And despite a lifetime blasting out hits from stages, he has taken to wearing custom-made ear-plugs to protect his hearing.
He allows himself the occasional treat, enjoying a tipple of Guinness to help him relax. But a source adds: “He usually has a half these days.”
RUNNING

Sir Mick remains a keen runner – doing up to eight miles a day when he’s in the mood, and alternating between distance and shorter sprints.
Preparing for a tour, he cranks up distances as if training for a marathon. It helps him move on stage and sing without getting breathless.
CYCLING

MICK was first seen cycling in the Sixties, and remains keen on the sport – like fellow singers Gary Kemp and Eric Clapton.
Mick has been spotted on a bike made by London specialist Condor Cycles, which has also supplied pros including Sir Bradley Wiggins.
YOGA

AS well as conventional yoga, Jagger has done anti-gravity aerial yoga, which involves using bodyweight to perform manoeuvres while strung up to 6ft in the air.
It improves core strength, balance and flexibility and also helps relax the mind and produces feel-good hormones.
But it’s not for the faint-hearted – devotees can find themselves flat on their face if they lose their grip.
KICKBOXING

Mick and bandmate Keith Richards have penned some of the greatest rock tracks ever but also row.
Fortunately, should they ever come to blows Mick will be well equipped.
He is understood to enjoy kick-boxing which is said to help de-stress and improve posture.
BALLET

He is dating American Melanie Hamrick, 31, with whom he has 17-month-old son Deveraux Jagger.
But it turns out the tot isn’t all he has in common with ballet dancer Melanie.
Mick is known to try out the classical dance moves to help with dexterity, poise and muscle tone.
MEDITATION

Where he once drank to escape, now Mick favours meditation, having even spent time enjoying the practice with monks in Thailand and Laos.
He once admitted: “It’s too debilitating to drink a lot, so I use other relaxation techniques...I sit on my own, calm down, take stock.”

RESISTANCE TRAINING

SIR Mick favours lifting weights for stamina rather than body mass.
He’s renowned for his slender frame, but has built up a core strength vital for his fast-paced lifestyle, previously saying: “I train five or six days a week, but I don’t go crazy.”
