Laurie Hernandez Biography

Hernandez's began her career in 2012 at USA classic where she was ranked at 11th in the junior division at the age of 12. At the time she got qualified for the National Championships in St. Louis where she ranked 21st after playing two days competition.

In 2013 Lauren played in WOGA Classic where she ranked second in the all-around competition. Following this, she participated in the American Classic in Huntsville, Texas where she stood first on floor exercise and second as all rounder.

Later Zoe participated at the Japan International in Yokohama where she scored 56.750 to win the bronze medal in all rounder division and also took the third position on vault, fourth on floor exercise and sixth on balance beam.

Zoe made her international debut in 2016 and competed at the City of Jesolo Trophy in Jesolo, Italy and scored 58.550 for which she was rewarded with a bronze medal.

On August 7, 2016, Hernandez participated in the Women's Qualification Summer Olympics where top 8 teams were advanced to compete with each other. She scored 15.200 on the vault, 15.366 on the balance beam, and 14.800 on the floor exercise, qualifying to the balance beam event finals and won the gold medal.
